Adriano Falconi is originally from Italy where he attended film school, studied photography as well as the fine arts. In 2000 he left Italy and landed in Los Angeles which immediately became his new home.

Recognized for his stunning visual style, combined with artful casting, Falconi was nominated one of the 20 new directors in Boards Magazine. Adriano is now directing commercials all over the world, but his focus on emotional storytelling is always at the heart of whatever he films. In his commercial work it is often difficult to tell whether the talent are actors or “real” people. He uses both, but always with the goal of making every scene authentic and true.

Adriano’s new film “Thomas” is being considered by the Academy in the Short Film category this year. It is a quiet and powerful story about a boy who doesn’t fit into the world around him and what he does to express his pain but also joy at who he is.
